Associate Account Manager - Commercial Lines
The Commercial Assistant Account Manager provides support to the Commercial Lines Account Manager and Producer/Account Executive in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts.
Your Impact:
- Prepare the Renewal Update document to be reviewed by Account Manager and released to Producer; Producer to obtain renewal information from the client
- Assist Account Manager in the preparation of the submission for Marketing Dept. or incumbent carrier.
- Assist Account Manager with follow ups to the incumbent carrier(s) to obtain renewal quotes in a timely fashion.
- Prepare the renewal proposal for review by the Account Manager prior to release to Producer and/or Client; Account Manager to transmit to client if Producer not available.
- Perform the Renewal Procedures after Account Manager has requested renewal coverage to be bound.
- Perform entire renewal process for accounts generating less than $6,000 revenue with assistance and guidance from Account Manager (not applicable to Core Commercial Associate Account Manager)
- Update direct bill screens (Account Manager to invoice all renewal policies unless specifically delegated).
- Check policies; transmit to client; update AMS/Image Right
- Maintain current open Tasks; follows up on open Tasks.
- Prepare Accord Change Request; transmit changes to insurance carrier(s); updates AMS/Image Right.
- Process endorsements: review, invoice, transmit.
- Process final audits: review, invoice, transmit.
- Process incoming mail as requested by Account Manager
- Issue Binders
- Issue Auto ID Cards
- Issue standard Certificates of Insurance (back-up to Commercial Technical Associates)
- Order loss runs (back-up to Commercial Technical Associates)
- Handle items reflected on bi-weekly Exception Reports
- Obtain Premium Finance Agreement quotes and prepare document for signature.
- Keep abreast of industry changes and trends.
- Participates in seminars and classes for knowledge and skill development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
