Job Description
We are looking for a commercially minded and energised Senior Key Account Manager to lead a team of 3 and support growth in our Europe Central Business Unit at the LEGO Group!
Please note: This position will be based in our LEGO® Sales Office in Grasbrunn and will follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered.
Owns the business across several key retail partners across the DACH region from strategy to execution, owning a multi-million Euro business that is key for the success of the LEGO Group in DACH, today and in the future.
Leads and mentors a team, ensuring performance alignment, skill enhancement, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Drives and creates the channel strategy for all retailers in the sub-channel, ensuring alignment with the overall commercial strategy in close collaboration with the Channel Sales Director.
Builds and maintains strong, strategic relationships with retail partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
Leads own negotiations for key contracts and agreements with our partners, ensuring terms align with company objectives and promote mutual growth.
Leads cross-functional collaboration with logistics, marketing, or (regional) commercial teams to ensure operational excellence and the further development of best-in-class ways of working.
We are a deeply professional sales team collaborating effectively across Europe Central (D-A-CH) to improve the business potential of the channel, whilst building the brand through engaging online and in-store experiences targeting both consumers and shoppers. This role is one of our key functions to foster and drive our Business. We do this in full partnership with our internal and external stakeholders, first with our customers by acting in alignment with our LEGO values and by working together in our highly motivated team, in an environment of high performance and a sense of human needs.
Several years of experience in managing major accounts in the German Grocery, Drug trade landscape with demonstrated success in driving sales and profitability.
Proven experience and a growth mindset when it comes to leading and developing teams successfully, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and drive high performance in a dynamic environment.
Expertise in combining market trends, sales performance & customer data to derive customer & channel strategies.
Strong track record of negotiating favourable terms and maintaining productive relationships with key account customers.
Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate strategies, goals, and performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Business fluent German and English language skills.
