We are looking for a remote / home office-based Sales Manager who will be responsible for generating new customers and sales volumes via our NA Merchant partners. This position will be geographically focused within the western United States and will engage customers ranging from printers to corporate accounts to end-users. The Sales Manager will ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and solutions provided resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction at the merchant partner and end-user level.

What you will do
Direct sales, business development, and service account management functions for UPM NA merchant partners. This includes business planning, building customer relationships at multiple levels in the vertical chain, forecasting demand in partnership with customers, pricing in adherence to UPM's pricing policy and documentation, implementation, and enforcement of UPM contractual practices, and building customer knowledge of UPM's offering
Collaborate with internal partners (customer service, production planning and logistics) to ensure customer commitments are met
Increase internal market intelligence by understanding and communicating end-user needs and market feedback
Create customer satisfaction by exhibiting a drive to exceed customer expectations
Engage in new business development to include lead generation, qualification, and development, which result in new sales for UPM
Who you are
You have a bachelor's degree in a related field
You preferably have paper-related experience
You have at least 5 years' sales or similar experience
You have demonstrated experience in customer relationship management
You have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
You are skilled in selling and negotiating and able to think strategically
You have experience with sales and business-related systems and tools (i.e. SalesForce)

Salary range: $118,600 to $171,000 / year based on qualifications and experience
