As an account executive, you will strategically develop and champion new business opportunities, focusing exclusively on companies operating within the propane and gas industry. You’ll be a subject matter expert on payment technology within the propane and gas sector. Success looks like proactively expanding our market presence through in depth market research to identify potential clients, build relationships with decision makers and C-Level executives, and understand their unique payment processing needs and challenges to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive and research-driven lead generation and industry networking.
- Create and execute on a growth strategy for payment solutions in the propane and gas vertical.
- Develop relationships with decision makers and stakeholders at all levels within organizations, gaining a deep understanding of their business models and goals through each interaction.
- Manage complex, multi-stage sales, navigating the full sales cycle from initial outreach to deal negotiations and contract executions.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders tailored to client needs, highlighting solutions and value adds.
- Gather market intelligence, including competitive analysis, emerging payment technologies, regulatory shifts, and industry trends to drive decision-making and strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure a seamless transition for new partnerships.
- Maintain an active presence in the field, traveling up to 30% of the time to engage directly with potential clients and cultivate strategic partnerships.

- Maintain existing and continuously develop strong professional networks within the propane and gas industry to cultivate strategic partnerships and drive business growth.
- Ability to actively listen to client needs, challenges, and goals and translate them into actionable solutions that will enhance their business.
- Must have previous experience leading complex, multi-stage sales cycles in the propane and gas sector, or related industries, providing financial services or financial technology solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, taking a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships within the organization and external partners. Creating alignment amongst decision makers and influencers across various levels.
- Self-motivated and driven, taking ownership of sales goals and overcoming obstacles to forge new paths towards success.
- Previous experience using metrics and market data to provide guidance to leadership and influence company strategy.

The salary for this position is $175,000+. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.
