A Day in the Life:
As a Sr. Regional Manager, you will be responsible for fueling Monster Energy's growth across your territory by driving sales performance, expanding distribution, and building powerful partnerships with distributors, retailers, and brokers. You will lead the execution of bold commercial strategies that increase market share, maximize revenue, and strengthen Monster's presence at every point of sale. Working closely with senior distributor leadership, you will identify opportunities, remove barriers, and execute with speed and intensity to deliver exceptional results. This role demands a competitive, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about winning in the marketplace while advancing the Monster Energy brand.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Responsible for the distributor senior leadership relationship, strategy creation, engagement, and execution.
- Manage day to day relationship, joint business planning and reviews with distributor.
- Manage senior trade development managers (TDM) including capabilities, key performance indicators (KPIs), priorities, development plans, recruitment.
- Develop direct reports to hybrid role of internal process accountability and field execution standards, utilizing the senior TDM to focus greater time on field training and customer/consumer outcomes.
- Lead distributor incentives to drive field sales engagement and results, ensuring energy portfolio is consistently a top priority within the distributor teams.
- Develop joint key account activation calendar with distributor and responsible to ensure distributor alignment and commitment.
- Build capabilities of direct reports including individual development plans, sales tool optimization, and consistent national customer call approach.
- Lead in field execution standards POS, displays, tracking KPI’s, NPD (new product development), distributions.
- Maintain open communications with the distributors to communicate the latest company standards, share information and best practices, identify common issues and agree solutions.
- Responsible for the performance management reviews and development plans, putting in place corrective actions or performance improvement plans when required
Who You Are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field of study
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in sales, in a leadership role preferred
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in retail, broker and distributer sales environment
- Computer Skills Desired: Advanced user of Microsoft Office
- Preferred Certifications: Experience with forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, POS and inventory reports
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English preferred
