This role is focused on driving growth within a portfolio of strategic State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts in a fast-moving cybersecurity environment. The position blends consultative sales, customer success, and technical advisory responsibilities, requiring a strong ability to engage executive and technical stakeholders alike. You will manage complex enterprise relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure customers realize continuous value from industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. Working within a high-performing sales organization, you will operate with autonomy while contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven team. The role is ideal for a strategic seller who thrives on building long-term partnerships and navigating sophisticated procurement and security environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to public sector organizations, helping them strengthen their cyber resilience and protect critical infrastructure.

Accountabilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic SLED accounts, driving renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, IT leaders, and cybersecurity stakeholders
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and maintain structured engagement cadences with key accounts
  • Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, especially around identity and access protection
  • Negotiate contracts and navigate complex public sector procurement processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer challenges and ensure successful outcomes
  • Act as a product expert in customer meetings, webinars, and strategic sales discussions
  • Support customer advocacy initiatives including references, referrals, and case studies
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, strategic account management, or full-cycle enterprise sales
    • Proven success selling into SLED (State, Local, Education) organizations
    • Strong background in cybersecurity, IAM, or identity security solutions
    • Experience managing revenue quotas tied to renewals, upsells, and account expansion
    • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives and technical decision-makers
    • Strong understanding of IAM concepts (SSO, directories, identity architecture, access management)
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • High level of autonomy, ownership, and problem-solving ability
    • Experience with Salesforce and sales engagement tools (preferred)
