Account Executive II, Renewals

This role is focused on managing and growing an existing portfolio of small and medium-sized business customers through strategic renewals and expansion opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients assess their financial needs and guiding them toward the right funding solutions to support their business growth. The position combines relationship management, consultative selling, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. You will own the renewal and closing process from end to end, ensuring strong customer outcomes while meeting ambitious revenue targets. Collaboration with underwriting and sales teams is key to delivering tailored financial solutions efficiently. This is a high-impact role where your success directly contributes to enabling access to capital for underserved businesses.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized business customers, focusing on renewals, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Analyze business profiles and financial data to recommend appropriate funding solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Own the full sales cycle from renewal approval through closing, ensuring consistent achievement of performance targets.
  • Use data, reporting, and pipeline insights to prioritize outreach and optimize daily sales activity.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and internal sales teams to structure effective financing solutions.
  • Identify upsell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize long-term customer value.
  • Maintain high activity levels in a fast-paced environment while ensuring strong customer experience and relationship quality.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales, account management, or closing role.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue or performance targets.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and business data.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a customer-facing environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
    • Self-driven, goal-oriented mindset with strong accountability for results.
