Graduate Trainee (Associate Scientist), Nutrition Science
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Job Description
Primary Function:
Work under guidance of Senior Scientist(s) to synthesize scientific evidence, strategize scientific communications, and provide brand support for the pediatric brands
Major Responsibilities:
Conduct literature reviews and summarize data and insights to help identify knowledge gaps and address scientific questions
Support the development of communication materials for consumers and healthcare professionals
Support the development and preparation of substantiation for product claims
Analyze the competitive landscape and provide appropriate updates and recommendations
Manage internal knowledge databases
Propose and implement methods to improve workflow and processes
Assist in selected nutrition research projects
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in a related field such as Nutrition, Dietetics, Life Sciences, or Public Health
Prior internship experience in Nutrition/Clinical Science
Basic knowledge in food and nutritional sciences, with basic understanding of statistics
Strong technical writing skills
Good presentation and communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Competent in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with PowerBI and data analytics is an advantage
