How you will make an impact

As a Scientist I within the Cell Biology R&D team, you will contribute to the development and evaluation of innovative life science products that support researchers around the world. You will apply your expertise in cell biology to design, execute, and optimize laboratory studies, generating high-quality data that supports research and product development activities.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of biological systems and experimental approaches while developing technical expertise in cell-based research, assay development, and data analysis. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization to solve scientific challenges and advance new technologies.

What you will do

  • Design, execute, and optimize cell-based experiments to support research and development objectives.
  • Culture and maintain mammalian cells and support a variety of cell biology workflows.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and improve biological assays and experimental methods.
  • Generate, analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental data to support project goals.
  • Apply a range of molecular, biochemical, and cellular techniques to address scientific questions and evaluate product performance.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to investigate experimental outcomes, solve technical challenges, and improve laboratory processes.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, methods, and workflows.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards for quality, safety, and documentation.

How you will get here

Education

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related life sciences discipline.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of relevant industry or academic research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture techniques.
  • Experience developing, executing, or troubleshooting biological assays.
  • Experience with common molecular, biochemical, or cellular laboratory techniques.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting experimental data.
  • Exposure to flow cytometry, microscopy, qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, or related techniques is desirable.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a laboratory environment.
  • Strong experimental design, data analysis, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
