Join our Analytical Methods Development team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you will develop and implement robust analytical methods supporting a diverse portfolio of products and technologies. As a Scientist III, you will lead analytical method development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring compliance with GMP requirements. In this role, you will independently design and execute laboratory studies, analyze and interpret complex data, and provide technical leadership in analytical investigations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support product development, manufacturing, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to product characterization, impurity analysis, implementation of new analytical technologies, mentoring of junior scientists, and resolution of analytical challenges across development and commercial support programs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline
- Demonstrated experience in analytical method development, optimization, qualification, validation, and transfer under GMP requirements
- Strong knowledge of chromatographic, spectroscopic, electrophoretic, and physicochemical analytical techniques (e.g., UHPLC/HPLC, IC, UV-Vis, MS, NMR, SDS-PAGE, cIEF, particle size analysis, or related methods)
- Experience in characterization of complex molecules, impurities, degradation products, and product quality attributes
- Ability to independently design experiments, evaluate scientific data, draw conclusions, and propose next steps
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including protocols, reports, SOPs, investigations, and risk assessments
- Strong understanding of GMP principles, data integrity requirements, and pharmaceutical quality systems
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in analytical laboratories
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience serving as a technical subject matter expert for analytical methods and investigations
- Proficiency in data processing and statistical evaluation tools
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Salary
€2 625–€3 937 gross/month
The final offer will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.

Compensation
The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 625,00–€3 937,50.Science & R&D pay context
