DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team as a Product Applications Specialist supporting analytical and scientific instrumentation.
In this laboratory-based role, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and validation of analytical methods and applications using chromatography, mass spectrometry and related analytical techniques. Your work will support the generation of scientific data and analytical solutions across a variety of application areas.
Working closely with senior application specialists and cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, and Commercial organizations, you will:
• Perform laboratory experiments and generate high-quality analytical data
• Contribute to analytical method and application development
• Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results
• Prepare technical content including application notes, presentations, and training materials
• Support application projects and workflow evaluations aligned with customer and business needs
This position offers opportunities to collaborate with scientists across multiple disciplines and to occasionally present technical work internally or externally.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline with hands-on laboratory experience using analytical instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of sample preparation, chromatography and mass spectrometry
• Ability to execute, document, and interpret scientific experiments and contribute to analytical method and workflow development
• Experience with scientific data analysis and laboratory software tools
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to internal teams and customers
• Ability to organize assigned laboratory activities, manage priorities, and contribute to team objectives
• Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new analytical techniques and application areas
• Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs
• Ability to work effectively with guidance from senior team members while progressively developing technical independence
• Occasional travel may be required for training activities, scientific meetings, and internal collaboration
