Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires careful planning and documentation of security controls to ensure seamless integration and transition to cloud security-managed services. The position demands continuous evaluation of security architecture to support business needs while maintaining optimal performance and reliability within the cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Evaluate the existing SailPoint setup (processes, connectors, workflows, governance) and identify issues, inefficiencies, and risks.
-Define the future-state IAM architecture, roadmap, and optimization strategy.
-Recommend and design new features, automation use cases, and governance improvements.
-Lead solutioning sessions with business & technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SailPoint capabilities.
-Propose enhancements to certification cycles, role models, lifecycle events, birthright access, and SOD controls.
-Review integration patterns and suggest modernization (API-driven integrations, SCIM adoption, event-based provisioning, cloud readiness).
-Oversee strategic SailPoint initiatives (upgrades, migrations, new modules, cloud move).
-Validate technical designs created by developers ensure alignment with architecture standards.
-Provide guidance on best practices, performance, scalability, and security posture
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Hands-on SailPoint IIQ implementation
-Strong experience architecting SailPoint IIQ in complex enterprise environments.
-Ability to assess identity lifecycle, provisioning flows, certifications, roles, policies, and governance controls.
-Expertise in designing process improvements, automation opportunities, and future-state IAM architectures.
-Deep understanding of SSO/Federation, directories, entitlements, target system integration patterns.
-Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business issues into IAM solutions.
-Experience in cloud IAM transitions and hybrid IAM models.
-Exposure to AI-driven identity analytics, risk scoring, and recommendation engines.
-Familiarity with PAM, ITSM, HRMS, and IGA convergence strategies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
