Summary:
In the role of Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This includes creating detailed architectural plans, ensuring that security measures are robust and scalable, and overseeing the documentation process for the implementation of cloud security controls. The role also requires facilitating the smooth transition of security operations to a managed cloud environment, coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain alignment with business goals and performance expectations throughout the process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and standards within cloud environments.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure security architecture integrates seamlessly with existing systems.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of security controls implementation and management.
- Ability to document complex security processes clearly and comprehensively.
- Skilled in coordinating security operations transition to managed cloud services.
Additional Information:
