Job Description:

The Business Process Manager will lead a small team of program/business analysts responsible for the back-office operations that help keep our ICAM program running smoothly. You will own back-office processes and improvement, coach analysts, and be a key interface hub across program management, finance/contracts, engineering, and compliance to ensure purchase requests, procurements, asset management, deliverables, proposal development, subcontract management, and senior leader communications are executed accurately and on time. You will also define, document, and improve back-office workflows and templates that elevate activity and efficiency across the program. 

Selected candidate will provide full-time remote support.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Reports to the Program Senior Manager; collaborates daily with PMO leads, Program People Managers, Finance/Contracts, Engineering Leadership, Security/Compliance, and Customer stakeholders. 

  • Manage and develop analysts who perform back-office business functions and business analyst activities; set priorities, review work, and remove roadblocks.  

  • Direct the establishment of clear SOPs, templates, processes, and quality bars for program deliverables; drive consistency and continuous improvement across back-office workflows. 

  • Oversee several back-office activities, such as purchase requests (POs), hardware/software asset management lifecycle, program labor onboarding/offboarding and related staffing tasks, proposal development, and procurements.  

  • Interface with business support teams to facilitate data calls and task actions, such as finance, contracts, pricing, and procurement buyers.  

  • Maintain the program deliverables calendar to track, consolidate, and ensure deadlines are met and content is accurate.  

  • Help ensure program compliance with internal and external policies and administrative activities; prepare for and support audits as required.  

  • Translate technical information into polished content for senior leadership and customer audiences (presentations, briefings, reports).  

  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to resolve process quality issues and improve adherence to procedures. 

  • Supervise, review, and/or write technical/business documents, such as reports, manuals, functional descriptions, guides, policies & plans, training products, and other program deliverables.  

  • Partner closely with program management on messaging and executive communications; ensure messaging is clear, concise, and on brand with the program’s high standards of both verbal and written communication delivery.  


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

Education: Bachelor’s Degree.  An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Experience: 5+ years related experience. 
Clearance: Active or ability to obtain Secret security clearance. 

Certification: ITIL 4 Foundation.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience supporting business/process operations, program analysis, or PMO roles.  

  • Demonstrated experience leading business process operations in enterprise IT programs.  

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools; hands-on with SharePoint repositories. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication; proven ability to translate technical information into polished content for senior leaders and customers.  

  • Proficiency leveraging AI LLM for task efficiency and productivity.

The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $151,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
