THE ROLE
As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer at Everpure, you will secure and scale our workforce environment by transforming how our global team securely accesses critical systems. Operating within our Enterprise IAM team in Bengaluru, you will own the end-to-end integration of corporate applications, engineering seamless automated lifecycles that eliminate operational friction and enforce a zero-trust model. In this highly collaborative position, you will act as a vital bridge between security compliance, infrastructure, and cross-functional business units to deliver secure authentication outcomes. By engineering robust single sign-on (SSO) and automated lifecycle systems, you directly safeguard Everpure’s corporate data while scaling an elite, enterprise-grade identity ecosystem.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
IAM Implementation: Implement and support IAM solutions for enterprise workforce and applications
Own Application Onboarding and Lifecycle Engineering: Design, build, and support secure configurations for enterprise application integrations leveraging modern IAM standard protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM) to scale our identity footprint safely.
Automate Workforce Identity Lifecycle Management: Programmatically engineer automated joiner, mover, and leaver (JML) processes using Okta/ Lumos and scripting tools to slash provisioning turnaround times, eliminate manual overhead, and secure day-one productivity.
Enforce Zero-Trust and Least-Privilege Architecture: Author and maintain fine-grained access governance policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), Single Sign On and multi-factor authentication (MFA) parameters to establish an uncompromised perimeter across workforce environments.
Optimize Service Reliability and Infrastructure Integrity: Build robust monitoring, alerting, and comprehensive technical runbooks to perform root-cause analysis on complex authentication or automated workflow degradation, driving minimized MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution).
Eradicate Technical Debt Through Code: Shift operational paradigms by implementing GitOps workflows and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to scale identity workflows, removing brittle, manual configurations across the enterprise environment.
Work Location Commitment: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
Core Identity and Access Management Competency: Hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining enterprise-grade IAM processes utilizing Okta or similar modern cloud-native identity platforms.
Technical Protocol Mastery: Comprehensive expertise utilizing and troubleshooting identity federation and automation architectures, including deep familiarity with OAuth, SAML, OIDC, and API-driven SCIM patterns. Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and automation workflows for system integration
IAM Process Mastery - Comprehensive expertise supporting SSO, MFA, User Provisioning and Lifecycle Management. Experience integrating SaaS and on-prem applications with IAM systems.
Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code Acumen: Proficient capabilities writing structured automation logic using languages like Python or PowerShell, coupled with an understanding of configuration management toolsets like Terraform or Ansible to drive predictable deployments.
Modern DevOps and Observability Fundamentals: Solid operational experience leveraging Git-based version control workflows paired with a systematic approach to system health monitoring through observability platforms such as Splunk or Datadog.
Collaboration and Analytical Mindset: Exceptional diagnostic capabilities to decouple convoluted authentication pathways, alongside an agile communication style that allows you to guide non-technical internal partners smoothly through application onboarding initiatives.
