Mass Production Materials Planner (MP Materials Planner)

About the Role
The MP Materials Planner plays a key role in ensuring seamless material availability to manufacturing partners, enabling the timely delivery of compute, storage, and AI infrastructure. This role works across supply chain partners to optimize material flow, mitigate risks, and drive operational excellence, directly supporting business-critical hardware deployment.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with manufacturing partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to manage procurement, logistics, and full bill of materials readiness
• Execute material planning and MRP processes to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and production requirements
• Monitor material availability and drive on-time delivery to support Clear To Build (CTB) milestones
• Identify supply risks, shortages, and disruptions, and partner with stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and execution
• Analyze supply-demand data and generate actionable insights to support planning and procurement decisions
• Track and report key performance indicators such as purchase order coverage, supplier performance, and material readiness
• Support material allocation decisions to maximize production output and optimize inventory levels

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations within a technology or manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and drive decision-making
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
• Project management experience with demonstrated ability to deliver results

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
• Experience in computer hardware manufacturing, production, or configuration environments
• Familiarity with supply chain systems, MRP tools, and component-level planning
• Experience working with suppliers and partners across different regions and time zones
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required as this role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and partners
