The role
The (Senior) Procurement Analyst is a pivotal role within Mehiläinen's Procurement Excellence function, responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and compliance monitoring that enable procurement to operate with transparency, financial discipline, and strategic insight. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Excellence, this person translates raw procurement data into actionable intelligence for category teams, business leadership, and the CPO, while ensuring savings are tracked rigorously and spend is understood in depth across the group.
What you will own
Own the group-level savings tracking methodology and maintain a live, real-time view of procurement performance across categories and business lines
Build and maintain spend visibility dashboards and monitoring reports, tracking volume development, price trends, and deviations across categories and suppliers
Monitor compliance with procurement operating models, contract adherence, and buying channel usage across business units, surfacing patterns and escalating findings to leadership
Develop and maintain procurement sustainability reporting, including supplier code of conduct coverage, Science Based Targets commitments, and CO2 data for group-level ESG reporting
Own the technical development and continuous improvement of procurement reporting tools and data infrastructure, contributing a data quality perspective to system implementation projects
What we are looking for
Education: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in a controlling, financial reporting, procurement analytics, or business intelligence role, ideally within a complex multi-site organization
Strong command of savings tracking methodologies, spend analysis, and KPI design, with the ability to present data-driven findings clearly to both procurement and finance audiences
Advanced proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, combined with strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or procurement systems data
Understanding of procurement processes and operating models, complemented by solid grounding in financial controlling and reporting standards
Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to data quality across all reporting outputs
Professional proficiency English, Finnish is a plus
