We are looking for Senior Procurement Analyst for Mehiläinen

Each one of our professionals is different. But one thing unites us all - we’re on a lifelong mission. If you feel the same way, come and work with us. Mehiläinen is Finland's largest private healthcare and social services group, operating across Finland and six other European countries. With a strong growth trajectory and increasing cross-border coordination, we are building Group Procurement as a strategic function that connects and enables the whole organization. There has never been a better time to shape how procurement works at scale across a fast-growing European healthcare group.

The role

The (Senior) Procurement Analyst is a pivotal role within Mehiläinen's Procurement Excellence function, responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and compliance monitoring that enable procurement to operate with transparency, financial discipline, and strategic insight. Reporting to the Head of Procurement Excellence, this person translates raw procurement data into actionable intelligence for category teams, business leadership, and the CPO, while ensuring savings are tracked rigorously and spend is understood in depth across the group.

What you will own

  • Own the group-level savings tracking methodology and maintain a live, real-time view of procurement performance across categories and business lines

  • Build and maintain spend visibility dashboards and monitoring reports, tracking volume development, price trends, and deviations across categories and suppliers

  • Monitor compliance with procurement operating models, contract adherence, and buying channel usage across business units, surfacing patterns and escalating findings to leadership

  • Develop and maintain procurement sustainability reporting, including supplier code of conduct coverage, Science Based Targets commitments, and CO2 data for group-level ESG reporting

  • Own the technical development and continuous improvement of procurement reporting tools and data infrastructure, contributing a data quality perspective to system implementation projects

What we are looking for

  • Education: Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a controlling, financial reporting, procurement analytics, or business intelligence role, ideally within a complex multi-site organization

  • Strong command of savings tracking methodologies, spend analysis, and KPI design, with the ability to present data-driven findings clearly to both procurement and finance audiences

  • Advanced proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, combined with strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or procurement systems data

  • Understanding of procurement processes and operating models, complemented by solid grounding in financial controlling and reporting standards

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a systematic approach to data quality across all reporting outputs

  • Professional proficiency English, Finnish is a plus

What we offer

You will join a growing Group Procurement function at a pivotal moment, with real scope to shape how data and analytics drive better procurement decisions across a leading European healthcare group. You will work closely with senior leadership in procurement and finance, with meaningful visibility and impact from day one. Mehiläinen offers a competitive package, a flexible and hybrid work environment, and a purpose-driven culture built around improving people's lives. The job is full-time and permanent.
