Job Description Summary:
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Marion General Hospital's Central Services of their assigned shift. Communication skills and the ability to follow up with customers, staff and management is crucial for the Team Leader. They must also take the initiative on problem resolution and process improvement.Responsibilities And Duties:
1. Responsible for resolving customer issues and communicating any resolutions with the customer, manager & associates.20%
2. Responsible for addressing and documenting all performance related issues, both positive and negative, for associates. Random audits of associates are to be performed for productivity and quality standards.

3. Plan/design/implement new processes that will help improve customer service, quality, increase productivity and/or improve employee quality of work life.

4. Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels and able to resolve emergent staffing issues daily. Assist management in the hiring of new personnel.

5. Able to communicate operational status to Manager and other associates through one on one interaction and group Meetings.

6. Maintain staff attendance records and payroll resolution.

7. Responsible for total management of linen services at Marion General Hospital including, maintaining stock of all linen, supplies and equipment to meet standards.

8. Actively participates in the planning, demonstration and implementation of the MGH Emergency Preparedness initiatives including Hazardous Materials Events and Decontamination Events.
