What You Will Do:
The Principal Specialist, Supply Chain Management will provide technical and hands-on support for transitioning aerospace parts, assemblies, and processes to qualified suppliers in India.
This role ensures that manufacturing processes are properly transferred, validated, and sustained to meet aerospace quality, performance, and compliance standards. The engineer will act as the technical bridge between the OEM engineering teams and supplier manufacturing teams, ensuring the successful industrialization of transferred components and assemblies.
The position demands a strong foundation in aerospace manufacturing methods, process control, and problem solving, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and local teams.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing methods, process validation, and documentation.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical ability using root cause analysis, 8D, and structured problem-solving frameworks.
Supplier Collaboration: Ability to influence and guide supplier technical teams through process readiness and qualification.
Attention to Detail: Diligent in documentation, traceability, and compliance to aerospace standards.
Communication: Clear and concise communication across global and cross-functional teams.
Ownership & Accountability: Hands-on attitude with a focus on achieving production readiness and process stability.
Performance Indicators (Success Metrics)
On-time completion of process validation milestones (FAI / PPAP approvals).
Supplier process capability (Cpk/Ppk) achievement for critical features.
Number of technical issues closed within defined turnaround time.
First-pass yield improvement and scrap/rework reduction during ramp-up.
Stakeholder feedback (supplier and internal engineering teams).
