We are seeking an experienced Station Operations Manager (Cold Chain) to oversee end-to-end temperature-controlled logistics operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, timely, and compliant delivery of cold chain products while maintaining high service levels and operational excellence. You will lead a team on the ground, optimise processes, and drive continuous improvements across the supply chain.
Ensure sufficient capacity for parcel collection and delivery
Drive high SLA performance and timeslot adherence
Minimise product damages and defrosting incidents
Manage operating costs in line with budget targets (~$350K/month)
Monitor financial and operational performance metrics
Implement cost optimisation initiatives
Ensure adherence to operational SOPs across processes, equipment, and facilities
Maintain compliance with cold chain handling standards
Drive consistency in execution across the station
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
Optimise workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity
Drive operational innovation and scalability
Lead and develop a team of ~20 staff (supervisors, drivers, sorters)
Set performance goals and drive accountability across the team
Act as the primary communication channel for policies and updates
Work hands-on with the team on the ground to resolve issues and remove barriers
3–5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or cold chain operations
Proven experience managing teams of 10+ employees
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making
Experience in Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage
