Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and continuously updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting efficiency. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine to analyze issues and implement effective solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on routine tasks and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the development and improvement of operational processes to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication during incident resolution.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery techniques to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases to improve system efficiency.
- Familiarity with database security practices and user access management to safeguard sensitive information.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner to minimize business impact.
- Understanding of database patching and upgrade procedures to maintain system currency and stability.

- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
