Supervisor Maintenance - Council Bluffs Case Ready

Job Details:

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing four key goals: safety, downtime, budget, and overtime.

Key Duties:

  • Complete work orders and preventative maintenance.
  • Supervise the designated maintenance/production crew.
  • Track budgets and ensure product quality.
  • Schedule maintenance crews and production orders.
  • Maintain logs and records for the maintenance department’s safety compliance.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on:
    • Frozen Block Grinders, Final Grinders, Blenders, Augers, and Conveyors.
  • Work with industrial equipment, including:
    • Vemag portion control equipment.
    • Tray Denesting equipment.
    • Omori overwrap equipment.
    • Delford weight price labelers.
    • Ulma bag sealers.
    • Pearson tapers.
    • Bizzerba labelers.
    • Various other industrial machinery.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support team growth and drive continuous improvement within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other local/state regulations.
  • Instruct employees on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Implement ergonomic improvements within the facility.
  • Perform additional assignments as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Additional education, vocational training, or college coursework preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of general maintenance experience.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills required.
  • Experience in Industrial Maintenance and supervision is a plus.

Computer Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.

Travel:

  • Some travel may be required for training purposes.
