2nd Shift Prima Punch Machine Operator
Financially sound and growing metal fabricator of commercial kitchen ventilation systems has an immediate opening for an:
• Exceptional worker as a full-time Machinist
• Scheduled working hours of Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with mandatory overtime when production demands require it.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm
- Mandatory overtime when production demands require it.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing material
- Determine sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
- Resolve production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
- Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail, safety and quality
- Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is beneficial
- Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
- Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
- Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
- Physical stamina and strength
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
