About The Team

Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Inbound Team Leader to manage and optimize dangerous goods warehouse operations in Duisburg, Germany. This role involves leading a team to ensure efficient and compliant receipt, handling, and storage of incoming hazardous materials.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead and supervise a team of warehouse operatives, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
* Oversee all inbound logistics activities, including receiving, unloading, inspecting, and documenting dangerous goods.
* Ensure strict adherence to all national and international regulations for the handling and storage of dangerous goods (e.g., ADR, IMDG, IATA, local German regulations).
* Implement and maintain robust safety procedures and protocols to prevent incidents and ensure a safe working environment.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to optimize storage utilization and flow.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Manage equipment and resource allocation within the inbound team.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and other warehouse departments.
* Prepare and present performance reports to management.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with dangerous goods.
* In-depth knowledge of German and international regulations governing the storage and handling of dangerous goods.
* Relevant certifications for dangerous goods handling (e.g., Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor - DGSA, or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to train, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken) is essential. Mandarin is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Forklift license and experience operating material handling equipment.
