Join Oshkosh AeroTech as a Maintenance Dispatcher / Work Order Coordinator supporting airport maintenance operations by receiving, prioritizing, dispatching, and tracking work requests for maintenance teams. This role serves as a central communication point between airport stakeholders, operations teams, field technicians, supervisors, and management to help ensure timely response to maintenance issues, service requests, emergencies, and operational needs.

YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Receive, prioritize, document, and coordinate maintenance requests from airport operations, airlines, tenants, supervisors, and other stakeholders; create, assign, update, track, and close work orders in the computerized maintenance management system.
Dispatch maintenance technicians and field teams based on priority, location, skill requirements, and operational needs; monitor work progress, team activity, and workload distribution to support timely and efficient response.
Serve as the primary communication hub for maintenance-related calls, radio traffic, emails, alerts, and service requests; provide status updates to stakeholders and escalate emergency, safety, security, or other high-priority issues as appropriate.
Coordinate responses to operational disruptions, equipment outages, facility issues, weather events, preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and other airport maintenance requirements.
Maintain accurate records, logs, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities, response times, labor, materials, delays, shift turnover, inventory, vendor coordination, and work order completion.
Comply with all company, airport, safety, security, and regulatory requirements; maintain confidentiality and professionalism; and perform other duties as assigned in support of airport maintenance operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
2+ years of related experience in customer service or dispatching
2+ years of related experience with data entry, scheduling workloads, and processing work orders
Ability to obtain and maintain airport badging or security clearance
Ability to work variable shifts, which may include nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, or rotating schedules based on airport operational needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of Maintenance Dispatcher / Work Order Coordinator, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is often required to sit.
This position is typically performed in an office, control room, maintenance operations center, or dispatch environment located at or near an airport facility. The role may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, phone or radio communication, and monitoring multiple systems or communication channels. The position may involve exposure to airport operational activity, maintenance environments, noise, weather-related disruptions, and time-sensitive service demands. This position may support a 24/7 airport operation, and work schedules may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, holiday, overtime, or rotating shifts based on business and operational needs.
