$17.45 per hour plus a $1.00 Shift Premium

Job Description

This position is responsible for picking up birds off a conveyor belt and hanging them on shackles as they pass by.  The birds are dumped onto a hanging conveyor at waist height and the shackles pass by at shoulder height approximately 16” from the Rehanger. The Rehanger grasps the birds and hangs them on the shackles at a rate of 27 birds per minute at shoulder height.  Any birds that will not hang are thrown into a tub to be packed out as undergrade.  This position requires standing for 8 hours.  The temperature is 45 to 50 degrees.  Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
