Senior Accountant

**About the Role **

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Senior Tax Accountant. In this role, you will not only oversee complex tax preparation and financial reporting but also serve as a primary advisory contact for our clients. Additionally, you will exercise your leadership potential by supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the deliverables of junior accounting staff, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

Modality: Remote.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM \u007C Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Review: Prepare and thoroughly review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, ensuring strict adherence to regulations.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Maintain and evaluate financial statements, general ledgers, and accounting processes for multiple client engagements simultaneously.

Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior accountants, driving team efficiency, professional growth, and quality control.

Client Advisory & Relations: Act as a trusted consultant for clients, handling inquiries, delivering financial reports, and managing multi-client projects under tight deadlines.

System Optimization: Leverage accounting software (QuickBooks) and advanced tax preparation platforms to maintain audit-ready financial ecosystems.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: 5 to 8 years of solid background in public accounting, corporate tax preparation, and client-facing advisory roles.

Leadership: Proven ability or strong potential to manage, train, and audit the output of junior accounting professionals.

Tax Expertise: Solid, comprehensive knowledge of diverse US tax structures (Individual, Corporate, Partnership, and Trusts).

Software Mastery: Proficient with QuickBooks and standard tax preparation systems.

Language: Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) paired with fluent Spanish for seamless international client communication.
