Corpay is currently looking to hire a Data Analyst. This position falls under our lodging line of business. In this role, you will support business teams by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable reporting and insights that directly impact revenue and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience working with structured and unstructured data, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear, repeatable reporting solutions.

How We Work

As a Data Analyst you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment based out of our Chennai office. The hours for this role: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST

 Role Responsibilities

 The responsibilities of the role will include:

Reporting & Business Support

  • Deliver regular cadence reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) to support business operations and decision-making
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain and improve existing reports for accuracy, consistency, and efficiency

Data Analysis

  • Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests from business teams
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical outputs

Dashboarding & Visualization

  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for business users
  • Present data in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner
  • Ensure dashboards are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business definitions

Data Quality & Governance

  • Perform data validation checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies
  • Work with upstream teams to improve data quality and availability

Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, sales, supply and operations teams to support data-driven decisions
  • Partner with data engineering/IT teams to resolve data issues and improve data pipelines

Qualifications & Skills

  • Undergraduate Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.).
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau and experience building production-level dashboards
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data manipulation techniques
  • Basic knowledge of Python is needed
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in the lodging or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to cloud data environments (e.g., AWS, data lakes/warehouses)
  • Exposure to tools like Alteryx to create data pipelines
