Sr. Business Systems Analyst/Sr. Consultant, IQVIA Inc., New Providence, NJ. May telecommute within commuting distance to the New Providence, NJ worksite to be able to attend meetings, meetings with clients, or work onsite when needed, often on very short notice. Participate in or lead teams in the design, development, and delivery of consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects within Life Science Commercial Operations and Information Management. Review and analyze client requirements and problems and assist in the development of proposals and cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction. Provide direction and guidance to Analysts, Consultants, and where relevant, Statistical Services assigned to engagement. Develop detailed documentation and specifications. Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions. Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics and needs of the audience. Deliver findings to clients. Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems. May identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client(s). Provide follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction. Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of related consulting methodologies and Commercial Life Science Information Management CoE-specific knowledge through on the job experience and participation in training opportunities. When acting as Project Manager, proactively manage project timelines and manage day-to-day communication with client and team members. Work M – F 8am – 5pm, 37.5 hours/week. Salary Range: $158,837 - $239,200/year. Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering, business administration, computer science, information technology, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years with a bachelor’s or three (3) years with a master’s progressively responsible business systems analysis experience to include (if Bachelor’s five (5) years, if Master’s three (3) years): utilizing the entire software development lifecycle, including systems analysis phases while considering business implications of technology application to current and future business environment; utilizing Visio, Teams, SharePoint, and JIRA; facilitating presentations, meetings and workshops; writing technical documentation of the systems and applications; writing SQL statements; utilizing SQL to facilitate data extraction, analysis, and validation; working with cross functional and distributed teams with different time-zones; supporting projects within Commercial Life Science Operations or Information Management domain; three (3) years (with a bachelor’s or master’s): cultivating, analyzing and interpreting business requirements into Epics, Features, and user stories; utilizing agile methodologies; working with pharmaceutical data sets such as sales data, TRx, Claims, SHA or MMIT; project and task management, including managing multiple projects simultaneously; performing system testing (QA and UAT); and utilizing Data Warehousing concepts to extract insights from data. The potential base pay range for this role is $158,837 - $239,200 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
