This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Analytics Director based in Canada.
This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of marketing strategy, data science, and AI-driven growth. You will define how marketing performance is measured, modeled, and optimized across the full funnel in a fast-scaling global SaaS environment. The role goes far beyond reporting, focusing instead on building the data systems, predictive models, and analytical frameworks that guide revenue decisions. You will partner closely with senior GTM leaders to shape demand generation strategy, budget allocation, and customer acquisition efficiency. A key part of your mission is to elevate analytical rigor across the organization by designing scalable, AI-augmented systems for insight generation. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building foundational systems that influence executive decision-making.
Accountabilities:
You will own the end-to-end marketing analytics strategy, building the data foundations, models, and systems that power GTM decisions and revenue growth. You will act as a strategic partner to senior marketing, sales, and revenue leadership, translating complex datasets into actionable growth strategies while ensuring alignment across the funnel.
- Design and evolve the marketing analytics roadmap, ensuring a unified source of truth across all GTM data.
- Build and maintain predictive models such as attribution, MMM, and LTV to optimize channel performance and budget allocation.
- Architect scalable data structures in cloud warehouses (e.g., BigQuery or similar) connecting marketing, product, and revenue datasets.
- Develop dual-track forecasting frameworks balancing top-of-funnel volume with downstream conversion quality and retention.
- Lead causal analysis and deep-dive investigations into performance anomalies, campaign outcomes, and market shifts.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into clear strategic direction and execution priorities.
- Deploy AI and automation systems to enhance analytical workflows, improve signal detection, and reduce reporting noise.
- Communicate insights through executive-ready storytelling for leadership teams and board-level audiences.
Requirements:
You bring deep expertise in marketing analytics, data science, and GTM strategy, with a strong ability to operate in high-growth, data-rich environments. You are equally comfortable designing complex models and influencing executive decisions with clear, structured insights.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or GTM strategy, including leadership-level ownership of analytical systems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python with experience working in modern data warehouse environments (BigQuery, Snowflake, or equivalent).
- Proven experience building predictive models such as attribution, MMM, LTV, and cohort-based forecasting.
- Hands-on experience designing BI frameworks and executive dashboards using modern visualization tools.
- Deep understanding of SaaS marketing funnels, PLG dynamics, and multi-channel acquisition strategies.
- Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations for executive stakeholders.
- Experience working with marketing tech stacks including CRM, marketing automation, and product analytics systems.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics, automation workflows, or agent-based systems is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience presenting to senior leadership or board-level audiences.
- Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments and build scalable analytics systems from the ground up.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package including base salary, performance-based bonus, and long-term incentives (RSUs where applicable).
- Fully remote work environment with flexibility across Canada.
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
- Generous vacation policy including paid time off, wellness days, and sick leave.
- Retirement savings programs with employer contribution or matching options.
- Professional development support and learning opportunities.
- Access to modern data, analytics, and AI tooling in a high-growth environment.
- Inclusive, collaborative culture focused on autonomy, trust, and impact.
