Financial Systems and Reporting Analyst III

This role sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and data governance, supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise financial reporting solutions. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, security, and reliability of financial systems used across the organization. Working closely with finance leaders, data teams, and technical stakeholders, this position helps translate business needs into scalable system solutions. The role also drives enhancements in master data management, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. It requires strong analytical thinking, SAP or equivalent financial systems expertise, and the ability to lead end-to-end delivery cycles. This is a highly collaborative environment where precision, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making are essential.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of financial systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Manage full delivery lifecycle activities including planning, requirements gathering, impact analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Define and enforce data governance and security standards, including segregation of duties and internal control frameworks across financial systems.
- Develop, analyze, and validate reconciled data extracts for audits, reporting, and ad hoc business requests.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, system discrepancies, and process gaps across integrated financial platforms.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigating solutions.
- Lead discussions with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytical insights supporting decision-making.
- Oversee training initiatives, documentation, and enablement materials to improve end-user adoption and system understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial systems roles, with strong business analysis exposure.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar enterprise financial systems, including reporting, configuration, or data management.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, master data management, data modeling, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL concepts, or other data processing and integration tools is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage stakeholders, and influence decisions at multiple levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Experience in healthcare or managed care environments is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, FP&A, or SAP certification are preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $83,000 – $132,800 annually
