This is a senior-level corporate development and M&A leadership role focused on driving inorganic growth strategy within a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisition and partnership opportunities that align with long-term strategic objectives. You will play a central role in shaping market expansion strategy, building proprietary deal pipelines, and cultivating relationships with key industry stakeholders, including owners, brokers, and investment intermediaries. The role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on deal execution capability from sourcing through closing. You will also act as a key driver of cross-functional alignment, ensuring diligence and decision-making are effectively coordinated across internal teams and external partners. Accountabilities:
- Define and maintain acquisition criteria and target geographies aligned with long-term corporate growth strategy.
- Develop and continuously refine a data-driven view of priority markets, including ranking and updating high-value regions.
- Build, manage, and maintain a proprietary M&A pipeline through targeted sourcing and strategic market engagement.
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable acquisition targets and prioritization frameworks.
- Conduct in-market and desktop research, leveraging competitive intelligence, operator insights, and market analysis to refine deal opportunities.
- Engage directly with high-potential acquisition targets and cultivate long-term relationships with business owners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, bankers, and intermediaries to generate proprietary deal flow and strengthen market positioning.
- Own the end-to-end deal process, including sourcing, structuring, LOI development, diligence coordination, and final recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence efforts and ensure alignment across internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Serve as the primary external point of contact throughout the M&A lifecycle while supporting executive decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development within the healthcare sector (home health and hospice experience preferred).
- Proven track record in deal sourcing, execution, and end-to-end M&A transaction management.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners and industry stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to executive, operational, and external audiences.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to build trust and influence key decision-makers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per month.
