VP, Partnerships

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Partnerships based in the United States.

This is a senior strategic leadership role responsible for defining and scaling a high-impact partner ecosystem within a mission-critical SaaS environment serving the education sector. You will lead the development of a comprehensive partnerships strategy spanning channel partners, resellers, ISVs, and strategic technology alliances. The role combines high-level strategy with hands-on execution, requiring a leader who can both design scalable partner programs and actively drive revenue through relationships. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to expand market reach and accelerate customer value through integrations and co-selling motions. This is an opportunity to shape how partnerships contribute directly to growth, while building programs that scale across a rapidly growing platform. The environment is collaborative, fast-moving, and focused on delivering meaningful operational improvements for K-12 districts nationwide.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partner and channel strategy aligned with overall business growth objectives.
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable channel partners, resellers, ISVs, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Build and manage scalable partner programs, including incentives, enablement frameworks, and performance measurement systems.
  • Drive joint business planning, co-selling initiatives, and revenue generation with key partners.
  • Establish and grow an early-stage ISV ecosystem with repeatable and scalable partnership motions.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and manage integration partners that expand product functionality and customer value.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing to ensure partner success and alignment across go-to-market efforts.
  • Track, analyze, and report on partner performance, pipeline contribution, and overall ecosystem impact.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and strategic partner engagements.
  • Strengthen strategic technology alliances that enhance the platform and support indirect and direct sales channels.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development within a SaaS or software environment.
    • Proven track record of building, scaling, and optimizing partner ecosystems that drive measurable revenue growth.
    • Strong understanding of indirect sales models, channel dynamics, and partner-led growth strategies.
    • Experience designing and operationalizing partner programs, incentives, and enablement initiatives.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with executive-level stakeholders.
    • Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on execution mindset in fast-paced environments.
    • Experience using CRM and partner management tools to track performance and pipeline contribution.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams in cross-functional settings.
