This is a senior, forward-looking strategic role operating at the intersection of cloud business development, market strategy, and cross-functional execution. You will play a key part in identifying and scaling new cloud growth opportunities across global markets while supporting the continuity and expansion of cloud provider ecosystems. The role combines hands-on business development with strategic analysis, partnering closely with sales, product, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and platform capabilities. You will translate complex market signals into actionable strategies that directly influence go-to-market execution and product direction. This position requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. Your work will help shape strategic priorities for cloud growth while ensuring operational readiness across the business.
Accountabilities:
- Drive cloud strategy and market development initiatives by identifying, qualifying, and expanding new cloud provider opportunities across global markets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, product line management, engineering, and supply chain to ensure alignment of cloud business priorities and execution readiness.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and internal performance data to generate actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Support end-to-end cloud sales motions by enabling account teams, tracking dependencies, and identifying execution risks across opportunities.
- Contribute to product and portfolio alignment by translating cloud provider requirements into recommendations for product capabilities and roadmap priorities.
- Identify and escalate supply chain constraints, product gaps, and readiness risks that may impact business continuity or customer commitments.
- Develop structured reports and executive-level recommendations to support leadership in prioritization and strategic planning.
- Improve operational consistency across cloud strategy initiatives through better processes, communication frameworks, and execution discipline.
Requirements
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, business development expertise, and technical understanding of cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously while influencing senior stakeholders across complex, matrixed environments.
- Proven experience in strategy, business development, operations, or market analysis within cloud, infrastructure, or technology environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud business models, go-to-market strategies, and product lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, managing complex initiatives independently.
- Experience collaborating across sales, product, engineering, and supply chain teams in large organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and executive-level recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences.
