Data Engineer Sr

This role sits at the core of a modern data engineering environment, focusing on designing and delivering scalable Snowflake-based data warehouse solutions that power enterprise analytics and decision-making. You will work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, high-performance data models. The position involves building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with third-party ETL tools, and maintaining reliable CI/CD workflows using GitHub and Azure DevOps. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering scalable and reliable data engineering solutions within a modern cloud data ecosystem:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement Snowflake data warehouse components based on business and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to build optimized, enterprise-grade data models
  • Develop and maintain data integrations with third-party ETL tools (cloud-to-cloud and on-premise-to-cloud)
  • Manage and optimize data pipelines using CI/CD practices with GitHub and Azure DevOps
  • Ensure performance tuning of SQL queries and database structures for efficiency and scalability
  • Support data pipeline reliability, monitoring, and troubleshooting across production environments
  • Apply best practices in data engineering, coding standards, and solution design
  • Requirements

    We are looking for a strong Senior Data Engineer with deep hands-on experience in cloud data platforms and enterprise data environments:

    • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, and data modeling
    • Proven experience working with Azure or other major cloud platforms
    • Solid understanding of enterprise data warehousing concepts and best practices
    • Strong SQL expertise including query optimization and performance tuning
    • Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools and managing complex data pipelines
    • Hands-on experience with ADF and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps
    • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills in data models and pipelines
    • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders
    • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
    • Nice to have:

      • Experience with large-scale data analytics projects
      • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
      • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
      • Understanding of Agile methodologies
      • Experience in test design and quality assurance for data systems
      • Strong analytical and innovative thinking mindset
