Lead Generative AI Analyst - English

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Generative AI Analyst - English based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end delivery of a high-impact generative AI data operations program supporting one of the world’s leading technology organizations. You will oversee execution across multimedia annotation workflows, ensuring high-quality outputs that directly contribute to the development of advanced AI systems. The position combines people leadership, client ownership, and hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, driving proactive communication, risk management, and continuous improvement. This is a highly accountable role where you are expected to independently resolve issues, maintain delivery momentum, and ensure operational excellence. The environment is dynamic and performance-focused, requiring strong ownership, structured thinking, and a bias toward action. It is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in client-facing leadership roles within AI-driven delivery programs.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of multimodal annotators and reviewers, including performance management, coaching, 1:1s, and staffing decisions.
  • Oversee onboarding and ramp-up processes, ensuring new hires are effectively trained and integrated into workflows.
  • Own client engagement on a day-to-day basis, including meeting preparation, call facilitation, and clear documentation of action items.
  • Proactively communicate risks, blockers, and delivery issues with recommended solutions and mitigation plans.
  • Manage program execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Track quality, throughput, and error metrics, taking corrective actions when performance targets are not met.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCCA) for quality or delivery issues and implement systemic improvements.
  • Design and maintain quality assurance workflows, including audits, sampling strategies, and annotation calibration processes.
  • Monitor budget and cost metrics, ensuring visibility into spend and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and provide transparent updates on delivery health, risks, and team performance.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in a client-facing delivery or operations role within data operations, AI annotation, or similar environments.
    • Prior experience managing teams, including performance management and operational oversight.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with international stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, solve problems, and drive execution without heavy supervision.
    • Experience working with annotation workflows, data labeling operations, or AI training data environments is highly preferred.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
    • Comfortable working during US business hours and in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
    • Additional language proficiency is a plus.
