The Lead Electrical Engineer – Local Electrical Rooms (LER) provides technical leadership and electro-mechanical engineering expertise for modular Local Electrical Room solutions deployed across complex industrial and energy projects.
Operating within a multidisciplinary EICE environment, the role supports both project execution and product and platform development, enabling scalable, standardized, and cost‑effective LER solutions while addressing customer‑specific requirements.
The Lead Engineer serves as the electrical-mechanical technical authority, ensuring design quality, regulatory compliance, manufacturability, and safe execution throughout the full lifecycle—from concept and detailed design through manufacturing, testing, and site support.

As Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing and executing the electrical design and engineering of Local Electrical Room (LER) systems, including enclosures circuits, mechanical cable routings, HVAC integration, fire protection systems, and equipment routing and interconnections.
Issuing complete and accurate technical documentation, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and alignment with customer specifications.
Overseeing development and validation of 3D CAD models and detailed fabrication/assembly drawings.
Reviewing and approving electrical drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Participating actively in design reviews and internal technical meetings, promoting cross‑functional alignment.
Working in multidisciplinary engineering (control, electrical, e.g.) to ensure full design integration and constructability.
Collaborating with Procurement and suppliers to support design‑to‑cost objectives and resolve technical topics.
Interfacing with manufacturing and assembly teams to support fabrication, address non‑conformities, and optimize designs using Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (D4M-A) principles.
Supporting and overseeing electrical aspects of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, and verification activities.
Providing technical support during installation, commissioning, and site erection activities.
Identifying mechanical and integration risks (e.g. thermal management, accessibility, maintainability, structural integrity) and driving mitigation actions.

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with solid experience in engineering and technology environments.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and materials.
Ability to work independently in a global, multicultural organization.

Team‑oriented and inclusive mindset, with effective communication skills.
Professional English proficiency, written and spoken.
Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and drive issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (Siemens NX, Eplan or similar).
Knowledge of international codes and standards for the Energy industries.
Knowledge of control system containers (design for industrial and energy applications, including equipment integration, cabling, and HVAC control.
