This is a senior creative leadership role responsible for defining and elevating the vision, standards, and future direction of visual design across a global organization. The position blends strategic leadership with hands-on creative influence, shaping how design is executed across campaigns, digital experiences, and emerging platforms. You will guide multidisciplinary design teams while partnering closely with creative, motion, and product leadership to ensure design excellence at every touchpoint. The role requires a strong point of view on craft, systems thinking, and modern design practices, including AI-enabled workflows. You will act as both a mentor and a tastemaker, raising the bar for quality while enabling teams to scale their output. This is a highly influential position where your decisions will shape long-term creative direction and organizational capability. Accountabilities
- Define and evolve the vision, standards, and long-term direction of the visual design discipline across the organization
- Lead, mentor, and develop design leaders and teams, fostering a culture of craft excellence and continuous improvement
- Partner with creative, motion, production, and product teams to ensure cohesive and high-quality design execution across all outputs
- Establish and govern scalable design systems, workflows, and operational best practices
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted design tools and emerging creative technologies
- Provide strategic direction on complex creative initiatives and guide teams through ambiguity
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and clients to communicate design value and influence outcomes
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in visual and interactive design, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design work across digital products, campaigns, or brand systems
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, including advanced use of design systems (components, variants, auto layout)
- Proven experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems in complex organizations
- Strong understanding of AI-driven design workflows and modern creative technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence both technical and executive audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent professional experience preferred
