Strategic Workforce Planning Expert

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of workforce strategy within a global, data-driven environment focused on innovation and impact. You will leverage advanced workforce planning methodologies and people analytics to generate insights that directly influence strategic and operational decisions across multiple organizational units. Acting as a key partner to HR, business leaders, and analytics teams, you will transform complex workforce data into clear, actionable scenarios that support long-term planning and organizational effectiveness. This position combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytical execution, particularly within modern planning platforms such as Visier. You will also contribute to the evolution of workforce analytics capabilities by improving tools, refining models, and supporting automation initiatives. A strong focus of the role is enabling business stakeholders to become self-sufficient in workforce planning practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, validate, and iterate workforce planning scenarios across multiple organizational units to support both operational and strategic workforce decisions.
  • Apply structured workforce planning methodologies including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and workforce cost modeling.
  • Optimize and enhance workforce planning platforms (e.g., Visier Planning) to improve analytical depth, usability, and insight generation.
  • Translate complex workforce and HR datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Enable HR business partners and organizational teams to independently use workforce planning tools and methodologies through training and support.
  • Collaborate with People Insights, HR COEs, and business leaders to align workforce planning with broader talent and people strategies.
  • Partner with data science and AI teams to identify opportunities for automation and advanced analytics in workforce planning processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of tools, models, and frameworks used in workforce analytics.
  • Provide storytelling-driven analysis and visualization to support decision-making across global stakeholders.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in strategic workforce planning, people analytics, or HR analytics within complex, global organizations.
    • Strong expertise in scenario modeling, headcount planning, workforce cost analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
    • Hands-on experience with workforce planning platforms such as Visier, including optimization and enhancement work.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights through strong data visualization and storytelling skills.
    • Experience enabling and training business users to adopt analytical tools and workforce planning practices.
    • Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics tools and emerging workforce planning technologies.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries with a proactive and curious mindset.
    • Strong analytical thinking with a focus on process improvement and innovation.
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Fluent English (written and spoken) required.
