In this role you will partner closely with engineering and finance leaders to guide discipline in engineering budget forecast and management for the whole engineering activities, except NPD and OTR/Service projects.
In particular, you will be responsible to set/improve the engineering processes, R&R, KPI & Metrics to ensure the yearly budget control. Will be responsible to align the engineering’s project leaders with finance actual data and co-develop an accurate forecasting ensuring a strong program cost management and control. You will facilitate and be the coordination of budget collection and finalization for LRP or similar activities for all the engineering sustaining and internal program activities.

You will be responsible for providing a framework for managing the engineering internal budget, facilitating resource prioritization if needed.
In this role you will make clear accountability among stakeholders and facilitate alignment among engineering and finance.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Develop and maintain engineering budget models for internal projects and sustaining activities.
Set up a monthly operating rhythm to analyze actual, forecast and LE.
Support the monthly budget control and management reporting process.
Collaborate with finance departments to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
Assist in the evaluation of BPG engineering hourly cost rates with finance.
Develop process for engineering blended rate definition to incorporate Global Engineering team rate and engineering suppliers’ rate.
Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor’s degree (BE / B. Tech) from an accredited university or college.
Bring established project management skills and experience.
Have been developing and maintaining KPIs and dashboards.
Demonstrate English proficiency.
Have strong oral and written communication skills.
Bring strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
Have proven experience and ability to work in a very multicultural environment.
Previous experience partnering with Operations, Engineering, Support Functions and Finance teams.
Be able to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
