Software Engineer III, Application Developer, XR

By leveraging the power of integrated AI assistance, we are building intuitive XR experiences for functions such as audio and video calls, translation, and navigation within an innovative wearable ecosystem.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
US: $147000 - $211000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience programming in Java, Kotlin, C++ or Swift.
- 2 years of experience in android application development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience with iOS application development.
- Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
