Software Engineer, Fuchsia Performance
Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Fuchsia is a modern, open source operating system that is simple, secure, updatable, and performant. It’s a general purpose OS, designed to power an ecosystem of hardware and software, and provides core operating system functions like system resource management, a driver framework, and software abstractions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with the following programming languages: C++, Python, and SQL.
- 2 years of experience in the operating system stack, including writing performance tools, and monitoring and presenting product metrics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in Rust, data analysis, operating systems (e.g., Linux, iOS).
- Understanding of low level coding, embedded, or firmware systems.
