What this job involves
Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot a full range of building systems, including HVAC, BMS, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire services, and lifts/escalators
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous, compliant, and energy-efficient building operations
Respond promptly to system alarms, faults, and emergency situations, including after-hours call-outs as part of a rotation
Coordinate with specialist contractors and internal teams on repair, upgrade, and capital works projects
Maintain accurate logs, work orders, and technical documentation in compliance with safety and quality standards
Support sustainability and operational excellence initiatives through proactive system optimization
Ensure all work adheres to statutory requirements (e.g., EMSD, FSD, OSH) and client-specific protocols
Required Skills and Experience:
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in multi-disciplinary building services maintenance
Demonstrated competence across at least three of the following: HVAC, BMS/DDC, LV electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection, or vertical transportation
Valid trade licenses (e.g., RA(M), RA(E), REW, or equivalent) are highly preferred
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken); Mandarin is an advantage
