We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership as we expand our cloud and on-prem mission-critical services. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of designing, architecting, deploying, and maintaining a high-scale microservice application. Beyond your technical contributions to high-availability and low-latency systems, you will mentor junior developers and drive engineering excellence across the department.
You bring a proven track record in software engineering, typically with around 5 years of experience or more
You demonstrate expertise in functional programming or possess a deep-seated desire to master it as a core architectural paradigm
You understand modern development practices such as Agile, CI/CD and DevOps
You are thrilled by the challenge of creating low-latency, high-performance and highly available systems
You would like to work with soft real-time applications with high technical demands on performance and availability
You lead the design, architecting, and scaling of distributed systems and microservice-oriented architectures
You thrive on solving complex technical problems and are enthusiastic about continuous learning and expanding your knowledge and skills
You are not afraid to challenge our existing ways of working.
You have excellent English communication skills
Although not required, but it is recommended if:
You have deployed your software using Kubernetes and Docker
You worked with or learned about Message Brokers and also efficient inter-machine communication structures such as Protocol Buffers.
You have proven experience in architecting distributed systems using microservices and scaling cloud-native solutions.
You have learned how to deploy in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and used CI/CD pipelines
