WebMethods Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a WebMethods Developer based in India.

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade integration solutions using the webMethods platform. You will play a key role in building scalable and reliable middleware services that connect multiple systems across complex enterprise environments. Working in a collaborative, cross-functional setup, you will translate business and technical requirements into robust integration designs and implementations. The position involves hands-on development using Software AG tools while ensuring performance, stability, and maintainability of integration workflows. You will also contribute to solution architecture discussions and help define best practices for integration standards. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced integration engineer to work on mission-critical enterprise systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Software AG webMethods components such as Integration Server, Designer, MWS, and Universal Messaging
• Build and manage enterprise-level interfaces and middleware services connecting multiple systems
• Develop high-level and detailed technical design documents for integration solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document integration requirements
• Participate in technical discussions and present solution designs to stakeholders
• Ensure integration solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Work with RDBMS systems such as Oracle or SQL Server for data integration needs
• Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of integration flows
• Collaborate with QA and support teams using tools such as SOAPUI and monitoring platforms like Kibana

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in webMethods development and enterprise integration projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Software AG Integration Server, Designer, MWS, and Universal Messaging
• Solid understanding of RDBMS systems such as Oracle or SQL Server
• Experience in designing and documenting integration architectures and workflows
• Familiarity with SOAPUI and monitoring/logging tools such as Kibana
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to define requirements
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with ability to present technical solutions clearly
• Exposure to API management platforms like Apigee is a plus
• Knowledge of Java, Kafka, or cloud/mainframe/Salesforce integrations is an added advantage
