Senior Business Systems Administrator -(NetSuite)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Systems Administrator (NetSuite) based in India.

This is a high-impact systems administration role focused on supporting and enhancing enterprise NetSuite environments within a global business applications ecosystem. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and governance of critical business systems that support finance and operational processes across the organization. Working closely with business applications teams, you will translate complex requirements into reliable system configurations while maintaining strong control over data integrity and platform performance. The role combines hands-on NetSuite administration, technical troubleshooting, and structured change management within a mature enterprise environment. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance system efficiency. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of business processes and enterprise technology systems.

• Administer, configure, and maintain NetSuite systems in alignment with enterprise standards and governance frameworks
• Support system enhancements, workflow configurations, and controlled deployment of updates and releases
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, configuration, access, and data-related issues through established support channels
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports while ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
• Participate in testing activities including test case creation, regression testing, and validation of system changes
• Support change management and release processes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with business applications teams to understand requirements and execute approved system changes
• Monitor system performance, storage, integrations, and data usage while supporting optimization initiatives
• Assist in user access reviews, role management, and compliance-related audits including SOX requirements
• Support integration awareness, testing, and downstream impact assessment across connected enterprise systems

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of NetSuite administration experience in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, business applications, and enterprise workflows
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration, scripting (SuiteScript), workflows, and reporting
• Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and integration concepts such as APIs, REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and SSO/TBA
• Experience working with iPaaS tools such as Boomi or Jitterbit and connected enterprise systems
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, access governance, and audit support processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage tasks within Agile/Jira sprint and release environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• NetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or similar) are an asset
