[What you will be working on]
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms for various government digital services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal operational efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including networking, operating systems, and platform-level problems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with the underlying infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security best practices across all infrastructure components, adhering to government security standards and policies.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure systems.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve platform capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
[What we are looking for]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale infrastructure platforms, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including their core compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, VPNs) and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
Please note that this will be a 2-year fixed term contract.
