Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure solutions that support scalable, secure, and reliable application delivery.
- Partner closely with software engineering teams to identify, architect, and deploy cloud-native technologies that improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and platform tooling to streamline software delivery processes.
- Manage and enhance containerized environments using modern orchestration technologies while ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
- Promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams by providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship on cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Monitor platform health, system performance, and reliability using observability and logging tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and cloud innovations, recommending improvements that strengthen engineering capabilities and business outcomes.
- Support the implementation and management of middleware, networking, and distributed systems components that enable high-availability services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software development, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Professional cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud certifications, Cloud Security certifications, OpenStack certifications, or equivalent credentials.
- Expert-level experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, ECS, or similar platforms.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, or comparable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, infrastructure as code, and scalable distributed systems.
- Solid knowledge of middleware technologies such as Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, NGINX, or related platforms.
- Strong software engineering background with experience in web development, automation, scripting, and server administration.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, and distributed architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-changing environments.
- Competitive compensation package with an expected salary range of $110,000 – $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
