Requirements
- Own and manage the product analytics function, serving as the primary analytics partner for Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
- Lead the development and governance of product tracking strategies, event taxonomies, instrumentation standards, and analytics frameworks.
- Analyze customer behavior, product adoption, engagement trends, retention drivers, and user journeys to uncover actionable insights.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests and product experiments, ensuring robust methodologies and clear measurement of outcomes.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical assets that provide visibility into core product performance metrics.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and accessible product data infrastructure.
- Translate business and product questions into analytical frameworks and communicate findings through compelling recommendations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, metric definitions, event standards, and analytics best practices to support organizational alignment.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through data-driven insights and continuous performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Product Data Science, or a similar analytics-focused role within a SaaS environment.
- Advanced SQL expertise with experience analyzing large-scale event, behavioral, and time-series datasets.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, including instrumentation design, event tracking, funnels, retention analysis, and cohort reporting.
- Strong understanding of experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing, statistical significance, sample sizing, and performance measurement.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations that influence product direction.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a highly autonomous, remote-first environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as BigQuery, dbt, notebook-based BI platforms, feature flagging solutions, or Python for advanced analysis is considered an advantage.
- Experience within B2B SaaS, customer support technology, or product-led growth environments is beneficial.
