Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and operation of scalable cyber platform capabilities supporting production-grade security and engineering systems.
  • Build and maintain secure, reliable, and observable services, tools, or data pipelines aligned with platform engineering and cyber operations standards.
  • Own platform lifecycle management, including reliability, performance, observability, and continuous improvement across services.
  • Drive architecture decisions and integration strategies across AI platforms, security tooling, and observability or telemetry systems.
  • Develop reusable services and automation frameworks that improve consistency, efficiency, and interoperability across engineering teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, delivery sequencing, and platform evolution strategies.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering strong execution, technical excellence, and systems thinking.
  • Promote engineering best practices including automation, cloud-native design, and operational rigor in high-scale environments.
  • Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data engineering, or distributed systems development.
    • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or technical delivery in complex product or platform environments.
    • Strong experience building and operating production systems with emphasis on reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
    • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and automation-driven engineering practices.
    • Proven ability to design and deliver reusable platforms, services, or data capabilities used across multiple teams.
    • Experience in cyber operations, security tooling, telemetry engineering, or observability systems is highly desirable.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in complex technical environments.
    • Ability to balance hands-on technical depth with strategic leadership and execution accountability.
    • Experience working in high-sensitivity or security-focused environments is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
